Tānekaha A4 Print
Tānekaha – Phyllocladus trichomanoides
Commonly found in native forests throughout Aotearoa, tānekaha is a graceful tree known for its soft, fern-like leaflets and slender form.
While its foliage is usually a rich green, this dried sample has settled into warm brown tones, echoing the natural dye it helps create. The inner bark of tānekaha has long been used in Māori weaving traditions to produce reddish-brown to deep rust-coloured dyes, offering earthy richness to fibre work.
This A4 print brings a touch of native flora and fibre tradition into your space
